  3. This game is used to help improve your memory in a fun way. It was written to replace an older version by the name Concentration that worked only under system 6.

  5. The Help window contains the present program documentation. Select the Help window from the Game menu.
  6.  
  7. This version is called a FAT binary, in that it includes code for both a 68k and Power PC computers.
  8.  
  9. Concentration ][ needs the following Fonts for best appearance:

  11. Chicago, Geneva, Monaco fonts in sizes of 9, 10, 12.
  12.  
  13. The use of True Type™ or ATM™ fonts with Concentration ][ will significantly improve text appearance on a display.
  14.  
  15. In the present version, Concentration ][ needs a minimum of 2.25 Mb's of RAM memory.

Since this is a development version, I have not spent to much time locating and eliminating memory leaks. Eventually Concentration ][ will run out of memory (the biggest consumer is the about window). Concentration ][ issues a warning message when it releases its memory reserve. When the warning message appears, quit then restart the Concentration ][ application. You can open the memory monitor and watch the A heap space (where most memory is lost). When it drops down to about 200k, then you should quit and restart.

  19. Concentration ][ does not directly support; OpenDoc or QuickDraw GX at this time.

  22. MINIMUM SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:

  24. Finder, System 6.0.4, 4 Mb's RAM, 24-bit mode, 9 inch B&W (monochrome) monitor, 3 Mb's of Hard Disk space.

  28. RECOMMENDED SYSTEM CONFIGURATION:

  30. System 7.5, 8 Mb's RAM, 32-bit mode, 13 inch (640 by 480) Color monitor, 3 Mb's of Hard Disk space. There are significant speed improvements running Concentration ][ on a Power Macintosh.

  34. If you use a large monitor, it is suggested that you increase Concentration ]['s memory partition by 1024 in the Finder's Get Info window.
